Montreal's own Daybi, the acclaimed Indigenous hip-hop artist and filmmaker, drops his highly anticipated new album,"Still of Stars,". Daybi's music is a potent fusion of socially conscious lyricism and raw authenticity. "Still of Stars" was recorded with Scott St. James across two distinct locales: the tranquil rural setting of St. Remi, Quebec, and Upper China Studios in NDG Montreal. This unique approach to recording helped shape the album's sound, which blends a nostalgic late-90s vibe with the stark realities of street life. Adding to the album's depth are guest vocals from Moka Only and Paul Cargnello, alongside production by Backxwash, Bluntana, Boogey the Beat, and Yani Sztricacks.
