Educated Guesses, a collaborative project between Brooklyn-based rapper Henry Canyons and Toronto-based producer Fresh Kils, is set to drop via URBNET on February 14th. In his first full length project since 2018’s Cool Side of the Pillow, Henry Canyons returns with Educated Guesses: an ode to the process of tolerating not knowing what comes next. From flickering romances, moving back to his native Brooklyn after a decade in Los Angeles, he follows his instincts and presses on.Canyons taps Toronto’s Fresh Kils, MPC extraordinaire and long-time touring partner to produce the record. Kils’ range of neck snapping drums, deep textures, and soul hugging melodies lay the backdrop as Canyons explores and toils at different forks in the road and navigates the decisions that are put in front of him, through his raw and personal lyricism. Featuring guest vocals from Shrapknel, Mike Ladd, Solemn Brigham, and Ollie Chanin, Educated Guesses is a deeply reflective, yet celebratory testament to embracing change.The project follows the January 24th debut of their first single, "Show & Tell," which will be available across all major digital platforms.
